Helpful Hints for the Historic Home Owner

Spring is fast approaching and that means outdoor projects to beautify your home.  Thinking about painting, adding new windows, or maybe just installing a new mailbox?  If you live in the historical district and you are making changes to your home you must have a Certificate of Appropriateness.

They are free and easy to apply for.  Just go to the city building and ask for a Certificate of Appropriateness Application.
