Bellevue Spotlight is on ...
the Cozy Cottage Craft Shoppe
This month we turn the “Bellevue Spotlight” on one of the newest business
establishments to call “The Avenue” home: The Cozy Cottage Craft Shoppe.
Since May 1, 2004 lifelong friends Barb Wiedeman and Yvonne
Lubbers have opened the door at 223 Fairfield Ave. to the discriminate purchaser
of finely executed craft products. A step inside that door and you will be
immediately awe struck on the amount of hand crafted items found within. No
where else in Bellevue can you find such an outstanding selection of finely
crafted doll cloths, various tole painted items, homemade note cards, baskets,
soy candles, pottery, hand painted porcelain, jewelry, quilted purses, patriotic
corn hole games and much more. With so much stuff, you’ll find yourself coming
back to see what you’ve missed the first time.
Barb and Yvonne pride themselves on offering only items of the highest quality;
including Sara Center Jewelry. Over 90 percent of the merchandise found within
the Cozy Cottage Craft Shoppe is handmade; 70 percent by the ladies themselves.
Located just two blocks from the Rte. 8 exit off I-471 the Cozy Cottage Craft
Shoppe is easily accessible from downtown Cincinnati and the surrounding
suburban communities of Northern Kentucky.
So next time you are visiting downtown Bellevue, don’t even attempt to leave
before you take the time to stop by and say “hello” to the gals at the Cozy
Cottage; you’ll be glad you did!
