Bellevue Spotlight is on ...
the Mustard Seed Books & Gifts
One of the neatest aspects to visiting downtown Bellevue, Ky. is the wide
ranging variety of stores and merchandise one can find along “The Avenue”. With
each month comes news of yet another interesting entrepreneurial venture to make
Bellevue’s historic Fairfield Avenue shine even brighter.

One such establishment is “The Mustard Seed Books & Gifts”
located at 341 Fairfield Ave. right in the heart of our quaint downtown. Opened
in November 2004 by Tina Guth, “The Mustard Seed” offers a wide selection of
ecumenical Christian merchandise. Along with the usual Bibles, music, cards and
gifts that one would expect in an establishment like “The Mustard Seed”, the
store also features current bestsellers listed by the Catholic Book Publishers
and Christian Booksellers Association(s) and a wide variety of locally executed
art work.

Another charming aspect of “The Mustard Seed” is that it often hosts book
signings by local, regional and nationally recognized authors; demonstrations by
local artists and educational forums.
“The Mustard Seed” is open six days a week; Monday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday –
Friday 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Open later for the monthly First
Friday Gallery Hop that occurs each first Friday of the month.
So next time you find yourself strolling along “The Avenue” stop by and see
Tina, do a little browsing, make a selection from her wide array of wares, and
enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee. The place is “heavenly”!
