When Spring Comes to Bellevue...
On the first official weekend of Spring....Bellevue changes its clocks and colors...and
Friend and resident Mary Jo opens her windows to a new and colorful view.
porch planters spring to life with encouragement from the sun.
Katie's fish doesn't miss the snow!
Walkers again appear along the riverfront paths....
and parents again take their children to our lovely parks....
Washington Ave. blooms white heralding in another season.....
the red metal roofs of Retreat and Taylor give great contrast to the spring time blue sky
the French Garden at Nagel park trumpets "Le Printemps est ici"
Easter bunnies "spring " up everywhere....
pink magnolias brighten shady yards.....
Bellevue families get out and soak up the sun.......and
Fairfield Ave's flowering street trees welcome all to town....
beautiful yellow forsythia can be found on every block........and
Spring brings native blue myrtle back to life......
in Spring beautiful pear trees compliment the homes along Van Voast...
Ward Ave. too never looks better than at Spring......
the varied turn of the century architecture of Foote Ave shines.....
resident Dottie T. and friend Sr. Mary Carol CDP enjoy the spring sun...
in Spring Christmas wreaths are replaced with colorful flags.........
and once snow covered lawns show off their true color.......
the white flowers make it seem as if clouds touch the earth.......
but most importantly.........everything old seems new again......... WHEN SPRINGS COMES BACK TO BELLEVUE!!!!
