When Fall Comes to Bellevue ...... the days get shorter and the nights grow longer and Bellevue takes on a different look for Fall. The greens and blues of Spring and the purples and pinks of Summer now take a back seat to the rich colors of yellow and orange, as Fall changes the palette of Bellevue.
Bellevue basks in one of the dwindling sun-filled mornings of October knowing
that the cool nights and bright days will soon cause many trees to show off their colors for Fall.
The mum displays at Nagel park shout L'automne est ici! (autumn is here)
and rich red leaves replace the color of faded summer blossoms along Taylor Ave.
In Fall, Bellevue neighbors decorate their historic homes for the season
with hay, scare crows and cheerful greetings.
In Fall, downtown delights visitors with seasonal touches,
and scary monsters make Bellevue's kids screech with expectations of "trick or treating"
and fun pumpkins greet passerby's
while "cool" Fall decorations hint of the "warmth" found inside our homes.
In Fall Katie's "fish" starts to look for "warmer" water
as the sun filled days of Summer give way to candy apples, sweaters and cider; as Fall returns to Bellevue! |
