Bellevue Victorian Days

At no other time of the year does the quaint downtown of Bellevue look more beautiful than at Christmas.  Each shop keep along "The Avenue" decorates in a unique way to highlight their own special wares.  Bright bows and lighted garlands greet cheery shoppers as they rush to-n-fro from store to store while children capture a glimpse of the old downtown of yesteryear.

This year our merry business owners turned back the clock to 1900 when Fairfield Avenue again delighted and amazed our citizens with the magic of a bygone holiday season.

Madame Lynn Kraus offers fresh baked delicacies while shoppers admired the one of a kind exquisite items found in her shop....

"The Gatherings"

Mistress Joann of "The Bellevue Beadery" anxiously awaits the arrival of some of Bellevue's finest young ladies who soon will be partaking in the wonderful craft of beading.

Two enthusiastic shoppers check out the wonderful new art pieces found at "Fussion Gallery"

One of the oldest establishments found along "The Avenue" is Cleves & Lonnemann Jewelers.  Here the Cleves family represent past generations of their family.

Mistress Lauren can't wait to spend the dollar her father gave her on a present for her mother.

Little holiday elves Madison & Hannah pranced along, treating the shoppers to confectionary treats from the world famous "Fairfield Coffee Company".

No proper "Victorian" era woman would be seen in public without perfectly coifed hair done exquisitely at Joann's Hair Styling.
