Friends of Bellevue Holiday Decorating Contest

Each year the Friends of Bellevue sponsor a "holiday decorating contest" to foster community spirit during the Christmas season.  Our charming little river town is divided into three sections.  Each section is judged by two members of the Friends of Bellevue.

The following are the winners and honorable mentions for this year.

Each first place winner receives an exquisite bowl engraved with "Friends of Bellevue Christmas 2004".  Honorable mentions receive a handsome plaque suitable for framing.  The awards will be given at the January 12, 2005, 7:00 pm, FOB "meet & mix" gathering at the Callahan Community Center.

First Place winner for the north section of town is 304 La Fayette Ave.

Honorable mention for the north section is 347 Taylor Ave.

First Place winner for the center section is 515 Van Voast Ave.

Honorable mention for the center section is 335 Grandview Ave.

First Place winner for the south section is 906 Berry Ave.

Honorable mention for the south section is 905 Clayton Court.

Over 350 homes were decorated in our charming little town and all contributed to the festive feeling of the season.  The Friends of Bellevue are proud to sponsor this event, and we congratulate all of the citizens who took the time to decorate their homes.
