Friends of Bellevue 2005 Summer Picnic

One of the nice aspects about being a Friend of Bellevue is that we have two socials a year, one during the holiday season and one during summer, to thank our members for their generosity and support of our community.

The following is a glimpse of the fun the Friends had at this year's "Summer Picnic" held in the beautiful garden of Friends Rosalie & Bob Rothfuss.

Rosalie & Bob's garden awaits the arrival of Friends.

Host Bob R. directs fellow Friends to their table.

Friends Mary Jo B. and Dottie W. catch up on neighborhood news.

Friends President Julie Boudousquie thanks host Bob Rothfuss for opening their lovely home and garden.

One of the nice surprises of the evening was the visit of fellow Friends Stephen & Sushannah H. and their triplets.

Here fellow Friend Dottie W. shares some "motherly advice" with Sushannah and baby Maggie. (or is that Olivia?)

Proud papa Stephen gets a break while fellow Friends Barry B. and Sandy O. have fun with Sam & Olivia (or is it Maggie?).

Friends mingle as they wait to enjoy the delicious spread set out for the evening's enjoyment.

Friends settling down to a wonderful picnic under the trees.

Fellow Friends enjoying good company and conversation.

Fellow Friend and board member Blythe R. can't seem to make up her mind where to sit.

Fellow Friend Sonny R. (left) can't believe he's having dinner with five attractive females.

A little sleeping beauty Friend.

This happens every time fellow Friend and Vice President Tom Wiethorn tries to explain the micro economic influences occurring within Bellevue -- sleep comes on fast!

Friends enjoying after dinner conversations.

The "Babes of Bellevue" truly made the evening sparkle.
