Friends of Bellevue 2005 Holiday Decorating ContestFor three years in a row, the Friends of Bellevue have promoted the holiday spirit of the season by sponsoring both a holiday decoration contest and an outdoor lighting competition. The following are the 2005 winners of both events. Congratulations!
Fellow Friend Jane G. poses with this year's holiday decoration. Jane won the contest by guessing that there were 760 coffee beans in a jar. (actual count was 759)
155 Van Voast Ave. was this year's winner from the Northern section of town.
235 Berry Ave. shined the brightest in the Western section.
Pasquale's Restaurant at 343 Fairfield Ave.; this year's .... "Best Decorated Business"
447 Taylor Ave. sparkled the brightest in the Central section of Bellevue.
930 Berry Ave. delighted the judges for the Southern Section.
401 Covert Run Pike, out did them all! The judges awarded this display "Best In Show"
866 Woodland Ridge set the Eastern section ablaze.
"Best display done by a child" Rear yard of 1119 Taylor Ave. (only one nominated...hey at least he checks out our web site) Over 27 nominations were received by the judges for this year's contest. Congratulations to our winners. A big "thank you" to all the homeowners of Bellevue who took the time to decorate and make our little one square mile community shine for Christmas! |
