Grandview School 100th Day FundraiserOn January 27, 2006, to celebrate the 100th day of the school year, our little fellow Friends at Bellevue's Grandview Elementary School were encouraged to bring to school coins of different denominations that would total 100. The students learned a valuable math skill and the equally important value of community building, for all monies collected were donated to the Friends of Bellevue to assist us in the works that we do for our community.
Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Skirvin (left) and Principal Mrs. Simpkins join little fellow Friends Aidan, Logan and Collin in counting some of the thousands of coins collected that day.
Little Friends taking pride in knowing that their contributions will go to help many here in Bellevue.
