12/20/2007: Friends Make Sisters Smile at Christmas!
This year the Friends of Bellevue remembered seven retired Sisters of Notre Dame, Covington who reside at St. Joseph Heights. All seven sisters were born and raised in Bellevue, Kentucky.
On December 20, 2007 a small group of fellow Friends representing the Friends of Bellevue KY. Inc. visited the Sisters' beautiful provincial home along Dixie Highway, to let these remarkable women know that they are still remembered and appreciated by our community.
Each sister was presented with a beautiful holiday gift to brighten their day, courtesy of our Friends at Petri's Flowers in downtown Bellevue.
The seven sisters were all surprised and delighted by the visit. All had many fond and interesting stories about living in Bellevue, Kentucky.
