3/16/2008 FOB Birthday Bash

The fifth annual FOB sponsored Bellevue Birthday Bash & Award Dinner was held on Sunday evening March 16, 2008. Over 200 Friends and supporters of our community gathered at the Newport Syndicate to celebrate Bellevue's 137 anniversary of incorporation. In conjunction with this community celebration, The Friends of Bellevue bestowed the annual Bellevue Award to this year's recipient, Bellevue Police Chief William "Bill" Cole.

Each year this event raises vital financial assistance to our community's elementary schools as well as raise funds for the Friends of Bellevue Scholarship Fund. Four local high school seniors were chosen to receive one of the FOB sponsored scholarships given each year.

This year's Birthday Bash & Award Dinner raised over $5500.00 to assist in these important community causes.
