5/10/2008 FOB A Walk Through Time
On May 10, 2008, The Friends of Bellevue and The Bellevue Neighborhood Association in conjunction with
the National Trust For Historic Preservation (NTHP) hosted a walking tour through the historic neighborhoods of Bellevue.
Keeping in mind this year's (NTHP) theme of "This Place Matters", a small group of fellow Friends and Neighbors set out to rediscover the architectural beauty found within our quaint community of Bellevue, Kentucky.
Along the way tour participants got a first hand recounting of how our community grew, of early influential families that invested in our town, and a close up experience of what makes Bellevue so special. In addition to the wonderful Springtime morning the tour enjoyed visiting historic homes, gardens and public buildings that grace Bellevue's Taylor Daughters and Fairfield Ave. historic districts.
Following are photos of just a few of the many beautiful stops during this year's tour.
Enjoy!
